Breu Branco is an Amazonian resin from Protium heptaphyllum, a member of the same botanical family as frankincense and myrrh. In Brazil, the resin is known as Breu Branco and has a tradition of use as aromatic incense.
Collected in the Brazilian Amazon from resin that naturally releases and reaches the ground over time, without deliberate tapping or cutting.
The brittle pieces are typically pale grey to off-white, with occasional darker inner areas, chalky bloom, or lightly crystalline surfaces.
Piece size, shape, tone, and surface texture vary naturally. Small chips and natural resin dust may be present.
Store closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.
For aromatic use only. Do not ingest or apply to skin. If warming or smoldering, use in a well-ventilated area on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Never leave heat or flame unattended. Keep away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable materials. Allow tools and surfaces to cool completely before handling.
