Sweetgrass is a fragrant perennial grass known for its naturally sweet hay and vanilla-like aroma. Its characteristic scent comes in part from coumarin, a compound naturally present in the plant. This loose format keeps the long strands unbraided.
Grown on a certified organic farm and carefully dried to preserve the long, flexible leaves. No fragrance is added.
The long dried strands carry a natural mix of green, straw, and golden tones.
Strand length, thickness, curl, color, and aroma intensity vary naturally. Most strands measure approximately 20 to 28 inches, and a few shorter pieces may be present.
Store closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.
