Honey Frankincense is a naturally sweet-smelling mixed frankincense from Ogaden. The name refers to its honey-like aroma, not an added ingredient. Unlike a single-species frankincense, this is a combined harvest from several local frankincense trees.
Sourced from the Ogaden region of Ethiopia, where several local frankincense types are harvested together rather than separated by tree. The mixed harvest is made up primarily of resins locally known as Mirafur, Muqlo, and Gunro.
