Boswellia carterii is one of the best-known Somali frankincense species. This is the Beyo selection, made up of the larger Grade 1 tears separated from the smaller Mohor tears during sorting.
Sourced from the Bari region of Puntland, Somalia. After the resin dries, it is brought to Boosaaso, where it is peeled by hand, cleaned, and sorted into grades. Beyo is the Grade 1 large-tear selection.
The selection consists of larger, irregular natural tears with visible differences in color, opacity, and surface texture.
Size, shape, color, opacity, and texture vary naturally. Occasional small chips or resin dust may be present.
Store closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.
For aromatic use only. Do not ingest or apply to skin. If warming or smoldering, use in a well-ventilated area on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Never leave heat or flame unattended. Keep away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable materials. Allow tools and surfaces to cool completely before handling.
